Radar Level Transmitter for SCADA Water Treatment
Product Overview
he Radar Level Transmitter is an advanced non‑contact level measurement instrument widely used in SCADA‑based water treatment and wastewater automation systems to monitor the real‑time depth of liquids in tanks, reservoirs, clarifiers, and open channels. Unlike traditional float or ultrasonic sensors, radar transmitters employ radio frequency (RF) microwave pulses to measure the distance from the sensor to the liquid surface. These pulses travel at the speed of light, reflect off the surface, and return to the receiver; the time taken for this echo to return is analyzed to determine the liquid level. This technology provides high accuracy, minimal maintenance, and excellent reliability even in conditions with steam, foam, dust, or changing temperatures — common in water and sewage facilities.
